Remember to ring the bell for your Groomer when you arrive
Our pet groomers' first priority is the comfort and safety of your pet.
We are well trained in how to handle nervous, young, old, and first-time-in-a-grooming-shop clients as well as seasoned clients.
We offer a full range of grooming services at our Hanover location.
During Grooming each Pet receives a bath, blow dry, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, and a brush-out.
Scissor Trims: Each pet is bathed then fluffed dried and scissored into the desired trim.
Puppy Cuts: This is an all-over trim that brings back the youth in your pet. Short but not shaved. The length can be adjusted for the seasons
Deshedding: Love your pet but not the shedding? That's why we use FURminator® deShedding Tools. Shedding is natural and there's no way to eliminate it. But, there is a better way than constantly vacuuming and scrubbing hair off your floor, furniture, clothing, and car seats.
Nail Trimmings: We use the Diamagroove Pinnacle file, it keeps nails cool, vibrations are tremendously reduced. It's safe on hands/skin/dog pads. Leaves a great finish on the toenail...safe! It is important to remember that untrimmed nails can cause a variety of problems from scratched-up floors for you to deformed feet and back problems for your pet. In some cases, they will actually grow back into the dog's feet. A good indication that nails are too long is a telltale "click-click-click" when walking on un-carpeted areas.
Hand stripping: As opposed to clipper and scissor styling is a specialized skill. Do not expect all professional groomers to be skilled hand strippers. We encourage the pet owner desiring the hand strip technique to inquire about the groomer's skill level and experience with hand stripping. Our Hourly Rate for Hand Stripping is $120.00 per hour with a one-hour minimum. (We only take Handstrip clients after a consult first)
Dematting: Matted dogs present a special challenge. If the coat can be brushed out with minimal discomfort to the dog, we will do so. (There is an extra charge, however) If we discover the mats are too tight to the skin, or too extensive, the most humane course of action is to shave off the hair and start over. Hair does grow back! Then, we would be happy to show you ways to prevent this from happening again. "Humanity before Vanity".
Hours are by appointment only:
